Today’s clever cocktail comes to us from the pages of Death & Co’s Modern Classic Cocktail book. It is a wonderful drink comprised of complex layers where smoky, spicy, sweet, tart and bitter are all working in unison. While we most often think about Mezcal cocktails as a summer sippers, the Naked & Famous cocktail is a perfect pick for fall drinking. Cheers!
Naked and Famous
In a shaker glass filled with ice add:
- ¾ Ounce Mezcal (we used Bozal Ensamble)
- ¾ Ounce Yellow Chartreuse
- ¾ Ounce Aperol
- ¾ Ounce Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
Shake until well chilled. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
