Created in 2013 by Matthew Coats at Jake’s Bar and Still Room in Leeds England, the Stout Fellow was inspired by the creator’s love for rum, stout and coffee. The cocktail has a wonderful creaminess and drinks like an Espresso Martini but quite a bit richer with more texture. It is a worthy concoction that is guaranteed to take the chill off a dreary day. In a shaker glass filled with ice add:
- 2 Ounces Stout Beer (we used Guinness Draft)
- 1 Ounce Overproof Pot Still Rum (we like Smith & Cross)
- 1 Ounce Kahlua
- 1 Teaspoon Dark Crème de Cacao
Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail saucer. Dust the top with grated dark chocolate (85% cacao)
