With Thanksgiving on the horizon, cranberries are on the menu. Today’s clever cocktail employs cranberry juice in a pleasantly tart variation of the Negroni. It is important to point out that the quality of any drink directly relates to the quality of its ingredients. Store bought, sweetened cranberry juice will not do justice to this drink so please spend the extra dollar on an un-sweetened 100% cranberry juice like R.W. Knudsen or Lakewood Pure. The results will be worth it. Cheers!
Cranberry Negroni
In a Shaker Glass Filled with Ice Add:
- 1-Ounce of Top Shelf Gin (we like Greenhook Ginsmith’s American Dry)
- 1-Ounce Campari
- 1-Ounce Dry Vermouth (we use Dolin de Chambery Dry)
- 1-Ounce Cranberry Juice (unsweetened like R.W. Knudsen)
Shake Until Painfully Cold. Strain into a Chilled Martini saucer. Garnish with a Large Orange Twist.
