This week’s tropical heat wave brings out the blender drink in us. Today’s cocktail is an easy to make, refreshing drink that will take the edge off of the heat. It is a frozen take on the Moscow Mule that uses Bourbon instead of Vodka as a base and includes fresh summer peaches in the mix. The recipe below is measured for a full blender and will make three to four cocktails.
Frozen Peach Mule
In a Blender Add:
- 6 Ounces of Well-Bred Bourbon
- 4 Ounces Fresh Peaches (peeled and chopped)
- The Juice of One Fresh Squeezed Lime
- 6 Ounces Ginger Beer
- 2 Cups of Crushed Ice
Blend at High Speed Until Smooth. Pour Into a Chilled Highball Glass. Serve with a Tall Straw. Garnish with Fresh Slice of Peach or a Lime.
