Yesterday we found an unopened bottle of Knudsen Pear juice left over from holiday Bellinis. Knudsen’s juices are un-adulterated and have pure, fresh flavors that we have found to be exceptional mixers. In the mood for something strong, but with a slightly sweet edge we created a Spiced Pear Sidecar. It satisfied our desire for sweet whilst still carrying itself with the strength and dignity of a Sidecar.
Spiced Pear Sidecar
In a Cocktail Shaker Filled with Ice Add:
- 2 Ounces Cognac
- 1 Teaspoon Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1 Ounce Knudsen Pear Juice (+/- to Taste)
- ¼ Teaspoon Real Cooking Vanilla (Use a Quality Product, No Artificial!)
- 1/8 Teaspoon Unsweetened Ground Cinnamon
Shake Like Crazy and Then Shake a Bit More. Strain into a Chilled Martini Saucer. Lightly Dust with Fresh Grated Nutmeg. Garnish with a Slice of Fresh Pear.
