The holiday season is a time when we break out sparkling wine. Whether it is a French Champagne or a simple bottle of Italian Prosecco or Spanish Cava, nothing says celebration like bubbles. Today we share with you a great seasonal “Champagne Cocktail” perfect for your holiday party. Now saying “Champagne” cocktail is a misnomer in that we don’t suggest you use your expensive French Champagnes as a mixer. Save those pricy bubbles to be enjoyed unembellished and find a well-made sparkling wine as a base for mixing. We like Spanish Cava as a suitable wine to create the Pear Noel Cocktail. It is quick, easy to make, and the perfect drink for the party host who doesn’t want to be tied down to the bar all night. Cheers!
Pear Noel Cocktail
Take a Champagne Flute and Rub the Inside with Fresh Rosemary Sprig
To This Glass Add:
- ½ Ounce Pear Nectar (we like R.W. Knudsen Brand)
- ½ Ounce Unsweetened Cranberry Juice (same brand)
Top with Sparkling Wine. Garnish with Rosemary Sprig and/or Thin Sliver of Fresh Pear.
