The S’mores White Russian

Sitting around the fire pit last evening making s’mores inspired this creation. We have seen it done before and there are more than a few variations but the concept is simple and the results are delicious. This cocktail is the fusion of two sweet treats; the white Russian and s’mores. If you are entertaining, this is a great way to offer your guests a big finish to an evening.

The S’mores White Russian

Take a Large Lowball Glass and Dip the Rim in Melted Chocolate and then Graham Cracker Crumbs (this can be done in advance).  Fill the glass ¾ full with ice, then add:

  • 2 Ounces Stolichnaya Vodka (it is a white Russian after all)
  • 1 Ounce Kahlua
  • ½ Ounce Heavy Cream

Stir gently to combine.  Insert 4-6 Large Marshmallows into the opening of the glass filling the top.  Have enough ice in the glass to support the Marshmallows so that they are sticking out above the rim of the glass. Take a brulee torch and carefully toast the Marshmallows, taking care to avoid heating the rim of the glass.

An option to the torch is to toast the Marshmallows over an open fire the slide them off the toasting stick into the drink. Either will work, important point being be careful not to get the rim of the glass too hot to drink from.
