Thanksgiving is right around the corner and here is a dessert martini that is perfect for after the turkey, served with pumpkin pie.
Pumpkin Pie Martini Recipe
- 1 ½ ounces vanilla vodka
- ½ ounce white creme de cacao
- 1/4 cup half and half
- 1 ½ tablespoons of pumpkin pie mix
- graham cracker crumbs (finely crushed)
Technique
In a mixing bowl take the half and half and pumpkin pie mix and whip together till smooth. (makes 2 drinks)
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add:
- 1 ½ ounces vanilla vodka
- ½ ounce white creme de cacao
- 1 ounce of half and half/pumpkin mix
- Shake like crazy until smooth and frothy
Strain into a Martini Saucer rimmed with graham cracker crumbs. (To get the graham cracker crumbs to stick to the rim of the glass, dip the glass in a bit of the white crème de cacao, then into the cracker crumbs).
