It is spring and spring is Strawberry season. Today we give you the Strawberry-Balsamic Margarita. Not our invention, but one out there on the web with a number of recipes from which we take inspiration for the interpretation that follows.
In a Blender Add:
- 1 Cup Fresh Strawberries
- 2 Ounces Silver Tequila
- 1 Ounce Simple Syrup
- Juice of 1 Small Lime
- 1 Tablespoon Top Quality Balsamic Vinegar*
- ½ Cup Ice
Blend and Serve in a Black Pepper-Sugar Rimmed Glass
Black Pepper Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Granulated Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Table Grind Black Pepper
*If you can’t get REALLY good Balsamic Vinegar, take 1 Cup of Cheap Balsamic and add 1/2 Cup Sugar. Reduce on the stove by 2/3 until syrupy. Cool and Use with the Recipe.
