The Cold Buttered Rum

There is beauty in simplicity. Being able to assemble a few easy ingredients, resulting in a treat, something delicious. Though cocktailing is strictly an adult theme, we as adults still have a bit of inner child crying to get out. Today’s cocktail indulges our inner child and plays on the milk-shake theme. It is not a mix that one wants to start with, but more of a dessert drink with which to put a perfect finish to summer evenings festivities. Today we offer you the Cold Buttered Rum.


In a Blender combine:

  • 2 Ounces Good Quality Dark Jamaican Rum
  • 2 Scoops Butter Pecan Ice Cream (We like Breyers)
  • Enough ½ and ½ to cream the two into a milkshake consistency
